English Vocabulary For CALENDAR (Days Of The Week, Months, Seasons).



Days of the week.The week begins on Sunday.

Months of the year and Seasons:



Note that in English the names of days of the week and months are always capitalized

With the seasons, years and months the prefix "in" is used:

- in April 
- in winter
- in 1991

Sometimes it's about the past or future days / months / year, that is, we use the words this, that, next, last In this case, the reason is no longer needed: this March - this March, this March; next June - next June, last February - last February.

If we specify a particular day, that is, the day of the week or the date of the month, we need an "on" reason:

- on April 23, 2015 
- on 23 April 2015 
- on Monday.
